System checker

Quick read-out of what your browser is willing to tell us about this device. We don't store any of it — values are computed in the browser the moment this page renders. Use it to confirm you're on a Windows version supported by the apps in our catalog.

Reading browser signals…

What this page does not do

It cannot scan your installed apps, see your files, run a virus check, or measure your "PC health score". Anything claiming that lives in the territory we explicitly avoid in the catalog. The values above come from the standard navigator and screen APIs every browser exposes.

Operating system

  • Windows 10 / Windows 11 — every app in the catalog publishes a build for you.
  • Windows 8.1 or older — most catalog apps still publish a "legacy" installer, but you may need to grab an older version of the app from the publisher's archive page.
  • macOS / Linux — Appvella's lists are Windows-first. The vast majority of vendors we link to also ship a macOS or Linux build, usually on the same download page — just look for the OS toggle once you're on the publisher's site.

Browser

If you're using one of the browsers from our catalog (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Opera, Brave) you'll see it named here. Use this to confirm which build to grab when you head over to the publisher's site.

Display, CPU cores, RAM

Coarse values reported by the browser. They're useful for estimating whether heavyweight apps (DaVinci Resolve, Docker Desktop, Krita) will run comfortably. They are not precise hardware specs — for that, run dxdiag from the Windows Run dialog (Win + R).
